Working full-time as a videographer between 2017 - 2019, I learnt a lot from my friends and colleagues who were professionally trained. Hopping across multiple roles from grip to camera assistant to camera operator. Since 2019, I continued videography on a freelance basis. Sometimes even producing for projects on top of my technical skills.

In 2022, I set up The Open Collective with my partner, Alastair, because the connections I made and the scale of the projects I was getting got too big for just one person to handle. I took up the producer role in most video production projects.
